Bitterroot Ventures

Adventuring around the Bitterroots with my poodle and one of my closest friends.   Sooooo happy. Best way to cool off. We took our time and stayed a while. The best path has no path. “This is my give up face.”- Ashly We didn’t see this until we had already taken the “wrong” path.Read more

Kim + Theo | Wedding

When my two adventurer friends Kim and Theo asked me to shoot their wedding, I was beyond thrilled! A small wedding that involves hiking and mountains?! YES PLEASE. A total of 5 people, myself included, were in attendance at their wedding. We hiked 1.5 miles to the most beautiful location. I got to wear whatever I wanted (always a bonus!). But you have to carry them if you want them. Mia: OKAY! So she carried two sticks that were bigger than her halfRead more

But when your legs are only 2 inches tall, it’s probably pretty easy to be falling over a bunch. He’ll be lucky if he reaches 3.5 lbs. Just a tiny, snugly dude. Can you tell that Mia is excited?!Read more

My Backyard

My bf and I recently bought a house! And it’s at the base of the backside of Mount Jumbo. Yeah, our backyard IS a mountain. It’s amazing to the say the least. Two blocks down, is the trail head to “Hidden Trail”. I was all like, “cool name! Probably named that because no one knows about it.” (made sense to me!) Nah. It was named that because sometimes you don’t know if you’re on the trail or if it’s theRead more
